Blessed Giles of Santarém (Dominican)

Blessed Giles of Santarém (c. 1190–1265) was a Portuguese Dominican friar and mystic known for his extraordinary devotion to the Eucharist and his miraculous visions.

Born in Santarém, Portugal, Giles initially pursued medicine but experienced a profound spiritual awakening.
